Prompt Distributor Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains the local-first data boundary of Prompt Distributor and the limited data used for Pro activation, recovery, reissue, device seats, and support.

Prompts and answers are not sent to the developer server by default

What data we handle

  • Prompts, template content, variables, and task state that you actively create inside the extension.
  • Local extension settings, task state, diagnostic logs, and platform selections.
  • Latest prompt / answer context and limited page metadata from third-party AI sites that you explicitly use.
  • When you use Pro / License, we process license key, purchase email, merchantOrderId, account session token issued after email verification, order recovery fields, and extension-generated desktop device id, device label, and device kind.
  • In the current payment flow, the page processes merchantOrderId, purchase email, submission time, payment time, and optional notes. Payment screenshots are reviewed only if you actively send them through support; this page does not upload them automatically.

How data flows

  • Prompts and answers are sent only to the third-party AI services that you explicitly choose to use.
  • Prompts, answers, templates, and logs are stored locally by default and are not sent to the developer server.
  • For Pro activation, refresh, recovery, license reissue, device deactivation, and order support, limited license, account, order, and extension-generated desktop device fields are sent to a developer-operated license service.
  • The developer handles only the minimum fields needed for purchase, activation, entitlement refresh, recovery, reissue, device seat limits, and support, plus screenshots or notes you actively send through support.
  • The developer does not use this data for advertising, profiling, data brokerage, or creditworthiness decisions.

Retention and contact

  • Local extension content stays on your device unless you explicitly send it elsewhere.
  • Order, license, account session, device seat, and support records are retained for as long as needed for purchase, activation, recovery, reconciliation, abuse prevention, and legal obligations.
  • You can release the current desktop device seat from the settings page after email verification.
